Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is inspired by the educational framework of the French Ministry of Education and is carefully aligned with Washington State kindergarten standards.
Our curriculum supports the development of the whole child, including:
Language and Communication
Children develop oral language through constant exposure, interaction, storytelling, and meaningful repetition in everyday activities, building strong foundations for early literacy.
Mathematical Thinking and Early Concepts
Children are introduced to foundational math concepts through hands-on experiences, including counting, sorting, patterns, number recognition, and problem-solving.
Fine Motor Development and Writing Readiness
Activities such as drawing, cutting, and manipulation of materials support coordination and prepare children for writing.
Gross Motor Skills
Through yoga, stretching, cooperative games, and outdoor movement, children strengthen their gross motor skills, coordination, and body awareness. Movement also supports focus, emotional regulation, and joyful connection with peers.
Social and Emotional Development
Through collaboration and guided interactions, children learn to express emotions, build relationships, and regulate their behavior.
Cognitive Development and Inquiry
Children engage in curiosity-driven exploration, asking questions, testing ideas, and developing critical thinking skills.
Independence and Confidence
We encourage children to make choices, take initiative, follow routines, and develop a strong sense of self.
Connection to Nature and Environment
Nature-based experiences support observation, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the world.
