Pomme de pin

Our morning rhythm

Children arrive and move directly into thoughtfully prepared invitations designed to spark curiosity and independence. This unhurried time allows children to settle in, make choices, and begin their day with autonomy and engagement.

Arrival & Free Exploration

We gather to observe the calendar and weather, share emotions, and sing in French. Children are encouraged to express their ideas and reflect on their discoveries from their last exploration. This time nurtures belonging, listening skills, and confidence in speaking French.

Morning Circle

Children spend meaningful time outdoors investigating the natural world. They revisit ongoing inquiries (insects, shadows, water, trees, snow, seasonal changes) either independently or in small collaborative groups. Through different activities such as experimenting, nature journaling, measuring, building, or observing, children develop critical thinking, language, and problem-solving skills.

Nature Exploration & Projects

Snack

Through yoga, stretching, cooperative games, and outdoor movement, children strengthen their gross motor skills, coordination, and body awareness. Movement also supports focus, emotional regulation, and joyful connection with peers.

Movement & Motor Play

Children explore and experiment with a variety of materials such as clay, watercolor, charcoal, collage, natural pigments, sand,... They move from sensory discovery to intentional expression.

Creative & Sensory Activity

Stories enrich our learning, nurture imagination, and support emotional development. We explore characters, sequencing, and vocabulary, practice retelling, and make connections between stories. Literature becomes a bridge for language development and meaningful discussion.

Storytime

Snack and lunch are calm and community-centered. Children practice independence, and social skills while enjoying a nourishing break together.

Lunch

We end our day with songs in French and a time for reflection. Children share what they enjoyed, discovered, or felt during the day, reinforcing language skills and strengthening our sense of community.
