Pomme de pin

Meet Julie

I was born and grew up in France. I studied at the Science University of Montpellier. Then, I graduated with a Master's degree in preschool and elementary education and I became a teacher for the French Ministry of Education in 2015. Since 2018, I taught French in different bilingual elementary schools and preschools, in Russia and in the USA. In 2021, in addition to my work as a teacher, I have taken on the role of Preschool and Kindergarten Pedagogical Coordinator in a French Immersion School in the Seattle area. In 2025, I earned my “Passeur de Nature” certification, qualifying me to design and facilitate nature-based workshops for children.

I'm a passionate teacher. I believe my role is to support children in their learning by providing them with an engaging atmosphere and tools they need to grow and move forward in the world. While I'm teaching them French language skills, I help them question and develop their knowledge, understand the importance of doing mistake and trying again in the learning process, take initiative and set learning objectives to become more independent, and develop social and emotional skills to growing together.

It seems to me that their is no better place for children to grow and learn than the nature environment. I created Pomme de pin to offer children a natural, fun and engaging space where they can interact with nature, learn about themselves and the environment that surrounds us.
